What is the Lake Chad Information System (LIS) of LCBC?

It is a knowledge management platform which:

1. Stores and Manages priority data on:  (a) environmental and water resources, (b) socio-economy and (c) risks and conflicts
2. Provides access to these data and information via a WEB PORTAL including a MAP COMPOSER
3. Provides a PROJECT MAPPING of different stakeholders active in the Lake Chad Basin
4. Provides access to important reports, studies and information materials vis an E-LIBRARY
5. Facilitates KNOWLEDGE SHARING and DIALOG between different actors in the basin
